The AfricArena Tour 2024 

This year, AfricArena will organize 6 hybrid events across 4 regions in Africa, as part of its annual AfricArena Tour that sees AfricArena search the African continent for its top tech startups that are propelling the continent’s tech and investment ecosystem into the future, helping to solve global issues with innovative solutions. 

Each regional round, starting in Southern Africa (Johannesburg, South Africa) and stretching across the continent to West Africa (Abidjan, Ivory Coast), North Africa (Marrakech, Morocco and Tunis, Tunisia) and East Africa (Nairobi, Kenya) act as a semi-final pitch session, building up excitement toward the annual grand finale, the AfricArena Grand Summit in Cape Town. The Grand Summit is where the overall continental winners known as Africa’s best tech startups will be announced. 

The thrilling Pan-African events play a crucial role in bringing together startups, investors, venture capitalists, ecosystem builders, corporations, business leaders and policymakers operating in each region and across Africa together to strengthen and build Africa’s thriving tech and investment ecosystem.

Here, during this one-day conference at 22 On Sloane’s prestigious, cutting-edge startup campus, delegates will have the opportunity to listen to 20+ carefully selected tech startups from Southern Africa and across Africa in specific sectors ranging from Seed stage to Growth stage pitch on the AfricArena Johannesburg stage before an audience of +250 investors. 

Delegates will also have an opportunity to listen to 30+ top keynote speakers, moderators and panellists, each experts in various fields spanning tech, business, finance, venture capital, private equity, media and policy delve into the latest insights  of Africa’s ever turning, ever evolving tech and investment ecosystem.
