London, UK, Wednesday, 24th August 2016: The African Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (AVCA) today announced the promotion of Dr. Ponmile Osibo to Manager, Research & Training.
Ponmile joined AVCA in early 2012 as a Research Analyst. He coordinates African private equity data collection and analysis, and manages the production of AVCA’s research and market intelligence products. His role also involves developing and facilitating in-depth training programs for fund managers and African institutional investors.
Ponmile has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of Birmingham and gained strong research experience during his doctorate degree, which focused on the various applications of hydrothermal fluids. He has previously worked on green technology research projects in Japan.
