ReelFruit raises US$3mn in Series A funding round led by Alitheia Capital
Alitheia IDF led the round and invested US$2mn while other investors included Samata Capital and Flying Doctor Healthcare Investment Company. The New Practice advised ReelFruit on the transaction. With the capital, ReelFruit will scale its dried fruit production, develop new products, and increase exports by 10 x to 15 MT in the first year.

BluePeak Private Capital announces first close of its flagship BluePeak Private Capital Fund at US$115mn
BluePeak Private Capital - an alternative investment firm with a strong focus on Africa, announced today that it has raised capital of more than US$100 million for the initial closing of its flagship private credit and mezzanine fund, BluePeak Private Capital Fund SCSp (the Fund). The Fund targets a final close of US$200 million, with a hard cap of US$250 million.

Andela raises US$200mn in a funding round led by SoftBank at US$1.5bn valuation
Andela, a global engineering talent outsourcing company, has secured US$200 million at a US$1.5bn valuation in a Series E funding round led by Softbank Vision Fund 2, the venture capital arm of Japanese conglomerate – SoftBank.
