Verod Capital invests in South Africa-based oil & gas business SacOil Holding

Verod Capital, a Nigeria-based private equity firm, has acquired a minority stake in South Africa-based, upstream oil and gas business, SacOil Holdings. SacOil looks to acquire and develop near production assets across Africa. SacOil aims to build a balanced portfolio of high impact-assets, while seeking partnerships with local and major oil and gas companies having extensive experience in Africa. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
