Global Engagement Call For Proposals
The Overseas Private Investment Corporation is launching its 2015 Global Engagement Call for Proposals. OPIC is inviting proposals from fund managers seeking OPIC financing for funds that invest in companies operating in OPIC-eligible emerging market countries via direct equity, debt, and equity-related instruments. Managers from all regions and strategies are welcome to apply.
Through a competitive process open for submissions from May 11- June 8, OPIC will select funds targeting projects in OPIC-eligible countries for new business development, existing company expansion, restructuring, and/or privatization.
OPIC is the U.S. Government’s development finance institution and mobilizes private sector capital to address critical development challenges. OPIC’s priorities include economic and social development, sustainable use of renewable resources, and facilitating commercial investment in low-income countries.
