Abi Mustapha-Maduakor is the Chief Operating Officer of the African Private Equity and Venture Capital Association and has several years of financial services experience in investment management, accountancy, and treasury. Prior to joining AVCA, Abi worked in Ernst & Young LLP, Royal Bank of Scotland Plc, Lloyds Banking Group and, most recently, as the Special Adviser on private sector issues to the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment in Nigeria. Abi has a MEng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
