Nicolas is a Partner in the Projects (Finance & Infrastructure) practice at Gide. He specialises in projects, project financing, and banking and structured financing.

He acts in sub-Saharan Africa in the fields of infrastructure, energy, real estate and telecommunications where he advises governments, public authorities, as well as investors, local and foreign developers, industrial companies, and banks on development projects, in their structuring, implementation (during construction and operation) and financing and on regulatory issues.

Nicolas recently assisted Société Ivoirienne de Raffinage (SIR) (the region's most high-performing refinery) and the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, on the implementation of a EUR 577mn syndicated loan for SIR, and the Central Bank of Mauritania (BCM) in reviewing the regulatory framework that governs banking and financial activities within the jurisdiction of the BCM.
