Roddy McKean is a director at Anjarwalla & Khanna, the leading full-service corporate law firm in East Africa. His focus is on doing transactional work principally for private equity funds investing on a pan-African basis. He was previously Head of the Africa Practice at Webber Wentzel based in Johannesburg where he developed that firm’s practice on the African Continent and prior to that was a partner at international law firm Hogan Lovells in London and Hong Kong. His transactional experience across emerging markets in Asia and Africa over many years has given him a strong understanding of executing deals in challenging environments and his recent experience has seen him do deals in over 30 African countries.
